An Invitation to Write
“An Invitation to Write” is a course geared toward emerging writers to help them process who they want to be as writers and come up with a sustainable writing routine. This course defines an emerging writer as any person who is called to write but doesn’t yet identify as a writer. The course will use short lessons, freewriting prompts, and sample works from Yellow Arrow writers to inspire emerging writers to take their place in their literary communities. By the end of this course, you will have created an artist statement, identified writing genres of interest, created a plan for a writing routine, and been given access to resources for writing workshops to continue your writing journey.
